Scott Bye has been doing
artistic work since he was in elementary school. This style of
art that he produces is a thin, modified cementious
layer applied to a board. The cement is etched or engraved to give
a three dimensional effect. Then is acid-stained, dyed, colored or
in combination. This enables Scott to create one of a kind works
of art different from your typical oil, watercolor or acrylic based
painting on canvas. “I feel the product that I use for my cement
based interior floors is so versatile and unique that it can be used
as an artistic material.”
Scott applies his artistic talents not only to the flooring cement
based material,
but also to his customers patios. “ I always like to be different, by designing
a patio that is unique it allows my customer to stand out from the rest of the
crowd.”
